Description
Weekly online art classes for children.
Join us for our Summer term of classes starting on the 17th April, with seasonal projects and lots of new art skills to learn. We have 6 weeks of creative fun to teach you.
All from the comfort of your own home.
Creative arts and craft projects taught through zoom. The classes are live and interactive.
Included in your class package is access to a recorded version of the class if you cannot attend live which you will have access to for 2 weeks after the term ends.
And if you join us after the term starts you will still get access to all 6 classes in the term.

Arts and craft classes for children taught online each week through zoom.
We meet every Wednesday on zoom at 4.30pm GMT and each class is 1 hour long
There is always a recorded version of the class available to participants if you miss the class or want to rewatch a certain part of the lesson.
Class Age Range
These are live art classes for children ages 6+. The projects are designed for children 8+ to work independently. and younger children will need adult help with certain parts of the projects.
Younger children may attend but they will need help from a parent, not for the full class project but for elements of it.
Materials
Materials are kept to a minimum so most students will have them in their house already and if not they can purchase from The Craft Corner. A full material list is laid out below.

What we teach
Over the course of a term we teach our students a combination of art and drawing skills, new painting techniques through studying famous artists and art movements. We also look at craft, 3D construction, creating art through recycled materials and paper. We generally incorporate seasonal projects into our art terms depending on the time of year.
General Materials you will need
There may be some additions to the material list closer to the start date.
Watercolour Paints and brush
Oil Pastels
Masking Tape or brown paper tape
Watercolour Card/paper or heavy weight white paper
Pencils, 5B and HB (you will be ok with just the HB pencils)
Ruler (30cm) and eraser
Black Sharpie or similar permanent black marker pen
Plain white A4 paper
Coloured paper, colouring pencils and markers
Glue, Scissors
Toilet rolls & Cardboard – for our Craft Challenge class in week 6
